Course Description:
This study offers eight weeks to help our message to be less foreign and more acceptable to the Japanese heart and mind. We use Japanese redemptive analogies, Japanese religion, Japanese religious consciousness. We look at good Japanese communication, Japanese literature, festival days and ceremonies, and general objections. Let us bridge the cultural gap for Jesus.
Course Requirements:
There is no charge for taking this course except for the cost of the textbook. However, there is a required $25 (US) deposit, to be received before the beginning of the classes. This deposit will be returned upon completion of the class requirements. Also, the course is conducted as independent learning, with on-line interaction and several video conferencing events, so you can participate wherever you live.

1. Reading

ii. Operation Japan, A Prayer Guide for Japan, Fifth Edition. You may purchase the paperback version or ebook version at Amazon. Also, a pdf version can be purchased from RJC Academy for $5.00. The digital version is available as a download from Don Wright. This updated version includes pictures and greatly expanded content and is linked with the internet for additional information.

Interview a Japanese. If a Japanese person is not available, a contact will be provided.
5. Writing
i. Weekly Assignments: Due every Saturday 11:59 pm. Assignments consist of observations summarizing what you’ve learned and answers to weekly course questions (their length can vary.) are submitted on-line .
ii.Students will read and comment on the answers and reflections posted by other
students each week in the course question discussion forum.
