Course Description:
This eight-week study program will highlight key Japanese cultural phenomena, and seek to ask how these cultural characteristics will or should influence the way we live and minister within the Japanese culture.
Course Requirements:
There is no charge for taking this course except for the cost of the two text books. However, there is a required $25 (US) deposit, to be received before the beginning of the classes. This deposit will be returned upon completion of the class requirements. Also, the course does not require any face-to-face interaction, so you can participate wherever you live.

The digital version is available as a download from Don Wright. This updated version includes pictures and greatly expanded content and is linked with the internet for additional information.

Two interviews with Japanese and one with a foreigner. If a Japanese person is not available, a contact will be provided.
5. Visit a Japanese Church.
6. Writing:
1. Weekly Observations: Due every Saturday 11:59 pm. “What I Have Learned.” This will be submitted on-line and posted on www.rjcnetwork.org.
2. Students will read reports from other students weekly and make comments.
3. Final Paper
