Session 4 Applying the Principles

* Read through and play Game #1 & 2 in “The Cross-Cultural Evangelism Game.” If possible, use the workbook in a group-learning experience.
1. This is most effective when you do not look forward through the book. Start at the beginning and go through it page by page.
2. If you are able to do a few of the questions with a group of people like your weekly Bible Study group, you will find it very insightful. At the beginning of each class do two or three of these questions with the students to find out how they are thinking. Then divide the class into groups of 3-4 people, read a question, and have them answer the question as a group. Ask them to find a scriptural precedent for the answer they chose. Then ask them the next question. After they have settled on their answers, share them, find out their reasons for choosing them, and then read the comments for that question.
* View Week Four Video (Dr. Daniel Kikawa).
* Interview a Japanese, preferably not a Christian. Ask about their understanding of religion.
