Naoko Brown’s Introduction

• Hi, I am Naoko. I was born and raised in Shizuoka City in Japan and have been living in the US for over 20 years.
In 1997, an American woman, who was on staff with ISI (International Students Incorporated), led me to Christ and discipled me.
I live in Nashville TN with my son Jeremy and work full-time in a research lab at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
• I have worked as a facebook manager for The Pocket Testament League – Japan. In the past, I served as a BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) leader here in Nashville.
• I was honored to be one of the speakers of 2011 RJC International Conference in Seattle and presented a seminar called “Cultural Barriers to the Gospel in Japan”.
In October 2009, I was honored to present a seminar called “Japan 101” at the RJC Chicago conference.
Back in Japan, none of my Japanese family members or close friends are Christians. In February 2010, my father passed away before I shared Christ with him. Through the brokenness and deep regret from the loss, my commitment to Japanese has become even stronger than before.
