I am a volunteer for Eigo Cafe, which is a program designed to teach Japanese students conversational English, focusing on topics that they typically don't get in their classes. The idea is simply to serve students in a tangible and useful way. Beyond that, another focus of this program is building relationships. We often hang out with students outside of normal class time and simply do life together. These relationships sometimes lead to opportunities where we can explain the gospel to them, invite them to church, etc. It's a wonderful ministry that has equipped numerous students with better English skills, American friendships, and knowledge of the Bible.
